Frequently Asked Questions
Coconut shell charcoal is the product of the raw burning (carbonization) of coconut shells; it is commonly used as a raw material for BBQ or shisha briquettes or as a base for activated carbon. Activated carbon is charcoal that has undergone a further activation process (steam or chemical activation) to open up millions of micropores, resulting in very high adsorption capacity suitable for water and air filtration as well as chemical purification.
We accompany every shipment with industry-standard documents such as a COA (Certificate of Analysis), MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet), Phytosanitary Certificate, Certificate of Origin (COO), and a Surveyor Report (e.g., from Carsurin or Sucofindo) if required.
Yes. We provide the safety documents required by the shipping line—including the SICC (Self-Heating Test Result) and Vanning Certificate—to certify that the charcoal is safe and free from the risk of spontaneous combustion during sea transport.
Certainly. We provide free samples (up to 500g–1kg). You only need to cover the shipping costs to your location.
Our standard MOQ for export shipments is one 20-foot container (20ft FCL) (approximately 12–15 tons, depending on the type of packaging). For the local/domestic market, the MOQ is determined based on stock availability and the delivery location.
The average production time is 14 to 21 working days after receipt of the down payment or L/C, depending on the order quantity and the availability of shipping containers.
We offer several types of packaging:
